Stimulus and Strategy:

1:19:46 almost Rx. Did w/ a partner but instead of the first run I rowed 2425m and she biked 4850m 'cause it was pouring a solid wall of water outside. All else (including the second run) as Rx. Split the squats in 25, burpees in 6, presses between 6-10, and cleans between 6-8. The first round was 37:36 and the second was 42:10 of which more than 3 minutes were due to the second running not going too well. I am not sure how the paratroopers survived this without blink 182 blasting into their ears. May be that's why the second run sucked so bad 'cause we ran outside? :)
54:37 with Dad and Ethan. I used 95lb and did strict pull-ups. My dad did 4” band pull-ups and 45lb bar. Ethan did strict pull-ups and 65lbs. Dad jogged/walked laps around the block while the ab and I completed the first run - which ended up a super steep hill and redlined us both, and dad was smoked too before the squats. I did 25 at a time on air squats though. Fun WOD although I’m not sure if Dad thought so!

I did not have the time and maybe not even the staying power for LGOP today, and I am a solo act only. Props to you Michael or whomever came up with MMM. Used my make-shift BB and bench rig for the GHD, and man did those impact everything else. Did a couple of sets of DLs with my anchor weight and sets of PC/SP combos at 75# after.
Ha, you crack me up! Did you love it or hate it?

That was awful. It didn't help that it's like 90F . I guess if your job is to rappell into active combat, this doesn't bother you.
Good work and thanks for sharing that workout on Thursday!
1:54 hr/min
started out with the Intermediate on first round then scaled back to the beginner in the second round. My guy quit on me half way through the second round. Really humbled me.
In a funny little confluence of coincidence, today is my Dad's birthday & he is a retired US Army Colonel, who spent much of his career jumping out of planes & choppers with both the 82nd & 101st AB! So Happy Birthday, Colonel Dad! Hooah!
Did 1 round solo-row for 1st run & 3:00 of KBS with 35# for 2nd, mod burpees & assist. pull ups, push press & PC with 45# BB unloaded-35:12, then 74 +1 for good luck HKR in honor of the Big Big Guy! I would have gone 2 rounds, but had more work done on the ink project Thursday, so need to *try*to limit the sweat & exertion!
P.S. great job yesterday, everyone! Some serious weight was moved! Y'all Beasts!
*,also if you're doing the math, he's my stepdad, but raised me since I was just a little big guy (6) so Dad to me, just to clarify he wasn't 15 when he had me😂
Awesome job and happy B-day to the Col.

1,940 also has significance because, when converted, it is 1.21 miles, which is a very famous number of gigawatts.
