WE BUILT THIS PROGRAM FOR YOU. AS YOU DEVELOP AS A COACH OR BUILD YOUR BUSINESS, WORKING WITH A SEASONED MENTOR CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH PERSPECTIVES BEYOND YOUR CURRENT SCOPE. OUR EXPERIENCED TEAM OF CROSSFIT MENTORS WILL EDUCATE, INSPIRE, AND GUIDE YOU TOWARD BUILDING THE GYM YOU HAVE DREAMED OF.

 

How can the Global Mentor Program serve you?

The Global Mentor Program provides actionable tools and ideas you can apply to your coaching or business. The goal of this program is to create a foundational mentor service to support and advise both coaches and affiliate owners. By working with experts within CrossFit HQ and the CrossFit community, we will craft personalized agendas and protocols to help you become the best coach/affiliate owner you can be.

WHAT DOES THE GLOBAL MENTOR PROGRAM PROVIDE?

By joining the Global Mentor Program, you will be given access to the following:

  • A dedicated mentor to serve your overarching coaching and/or business needs, from coaching skills improvement, staff development, class planning, and programming, to OnRamp program integration.
  • Pre-qualification survey to determine your strengths, weaknesses, and roadmap for your mentorship journey.
  • One (1) initial onboarding call.
    • Meet your mentor and discuss your goals, current status, challenges, and set the foundation for the next several months.
  • Two (2) one-on-one mentor sessions per month with your dedicated mentor.
    • Focused and individualized attention to:
      • Educate and develop both the knowledge and application of effective coaching.
      • Explore the six criteria of effective coaching via assessment and implementation.
      • Understand coaching strengths and weaknesses that lead to an intentional and measured development plan for success.
      • Improve your ability to coach CrossFit. This includes learning how to lesson plan, program, assess for athlete thresholds, scale effectively, understand the art of group management, and any area of coaching that requires attention.
      • Establish a robust staff development and training plan, create an affiliate onboarding program, and build business foundations and operations.
      • This program is customized to your needs!
  • A customized action plan created between mentor and mentee.

Why did CrossFit create the Global Mentor Program?

There is nothing more we want at CrossFit than to see you succeed as an affiliate owner and business leader. We want to be part of your journey toward growth as you set out to transform lives through health, fitness, and nutrition as an emerging CrossFit affiliate.

Among small business owners and Fortune 500 CEOs alike, mentorship is often considered a critical opportunity in starting and operating a business. According to the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA), over 70% of small businesses that received mentorship survived more than five years — more than double the survival rate of non-mentored businesses. The same SBA survey found that 88% of business owners with a mentor said that having one was invaluable. In Europe, the European Union similarly finds success rates through business mentor programs and launched an EU-wide Mentor Academy in late 2022 to strengthen European small business owners and entrepreneurs.

What does the CrossFit Global Mentor Program cost?

The program costs $350 per month*. ​​We recommend an initial three-month commitment to this program. Payments are month-to-month. There are no contracts. We want to be with you for as long as you want to be with us.

Accountability Accountability and intentionality is the foundation of any successful mentoring activity; developing an agreed-upon set of goals and activities will help both mentor and mentee cultivate a meaningful relationship and attain the defined objectives.
