CrossFit training is new territory. The movements are different. The format is nothing like a treadmill or a machine circuit. You may finish your first class trying to make sense of it.
That is a normal response.
By your third or fourth class, something shifts. The patterns click, your pace finds itself, and familiar faces start to appear. That discomfort you felt in Week 1 stops feeling foreign and starts feeling like progress.
The hard work isn’t a flaw in the system. It’s the system itself, because the work scales with you, it’s coached, and it’s designed to evolve as you do, which is precisely why it works.
Show up, do the work, and see what happens by Week 4.
