2026 “COUNTDOWN TO THE CROSSFIT GAMES OPEN” GIVEAWAY

1. SPONSOR

The 2026 CrossFit Open “Countdown to the Open” Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored and administered by CrossFit, LLC, located at 3623 Crossings Dr., Suite 223, Prescott, AZ 86305 (“CrossFit”). Participating partners are prize providers only and are not sponsors or administrators of the Giveaway.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Giveaway is open to individuals who:

  • Are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
  • Are legal residents of jurisdictions where the Giveaway is permitted by law.

Employees of CrossFit, LLC, its subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and participating prize partners, and their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to participate. The Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. GIVEAWAY PERIOD

The Giveaway begins on January 15, 2026, at 12:00 AM Pacific Time and ends on February 25, 2026, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (the “Promotion Period”). The Promotion consists of six (6) consecutive weekly entry periods (each, a “Weekly Entry Period”), with winner selections occurring at the conclusion of each Weekly Entry Period. Specific prize announcements and winner announcement dates will be communicated via CrossFit’s official channels.

4. HOW TO ENTER

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win.

To enter, during a Weekly Entry Period, eligible participants must:

  • Post publicly on a supported social media platform talking about The Open; and
  • Include the hashtag #CFOpen2026 in the post.

Entries must be submitted from a public account so that the post can be viewed by CrossFit. Private or restricted posts are not eligible. Limit one (1) entry per person per Weekly Entry Period. Multiple posts during the same Weekly Entry Period will not increase the number of entries. Submission deadlines for each Weekly Entry Period are as follows: 

  • January 20, 2026 by 5:00 PM Pacific Time. 
  • January 29, 2026 by 5:00 PM Pacific Time. 
  • February 5, 2026 by 5:00 PM Pacific Time. 
  • February 12, 2026 by 5:00 PM Pacific Time. 
  • February 19, 2026 by 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
  • February 26, 2026 by 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

Registration for the 2026 CrossFit Open is encouraged but not required to enter or win.

The creation or use of multiple social media accounts, fake accounts, automated accounts, or any other method intended to circumvent the entry limits or otherwise increase the chances of winning is prohibited. CrossFit reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant or entry that it determines, or reasonably suspects, has engaged in such conduct or has otherwise acted in a manner inconsistent with the integrity or spirit of the Giveaway. 

CrossFit reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Official Rules or that is deemed fraudulent, incomplete, or abusive.

5. PRIZES

A confirmed prize list by week
 Week 1: Four (4) $250 USD Velites gift cards
 Week 2: Four (4) $100 Gift Card to Rogue and Four (4)  $100 Gift Card to Pasture Provisions 

 Week 3: Five (5) YETI Fitness Prize Packs (ARV $215 USD) consisting of:

  • YETI Camino 35 Carryall Tote 
  • YETI YONDER® 27oz Shaker Bottle
  • YETI RAMBLER® 26oz Water Bottle

 Week 4: Four (4) CrossFit Online Level 1 Courses (ARV $1000 USD /each)

 Week 5: Four (4) $100 USD CrossFit Retail Store gift cards

 Week 6: TBD

6. WINNER SELECTION & ODDS

For each Weekly Entry Period, one or more winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted by CrossFit, LLC on the dates listed below from among all eligible entries received during the applicable Weekly Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for that week.

Winner selection and announcement dates are as follows:

  • Week 1: January 21, 2026
  • Week 2: February 2, 2026
  • Week 3: February 9, 2026
  • Week 4: February 16, 2026
  • Week 5: February 23, 2026
  • Week 6: February 27, 2026

Winners will be notified via direct message, email, and/or public announcement through CrossFit’s official channels. Winners must respond within the timeframe specified in the notification to claim their prize. Winners must respond within seven (7) days to claim their prize or an alternate winner may be selected.

7. TAXES & REPORTING

U.S. winners receiving prizes valued at $600 or more will be required to complete an IRS Form W-9 and may receive a Form 1099-MISC for tax reporting. International winners may be subject to applicable taxes and reporting requirements under local laws. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS

CrossFit reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any factor beyond its control impairs the integrity of the promotion. Entries must be submitted by the owner of the affiliate. Entries from coaches, staff, or members will not be accepted. CrossFit reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of tampering with the entry process or violating these rules.

9. RELEASE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By participating, entrants release CrossFit, LLC, its affiliates, employees, and representatives from any liability related to:

  • Claims arising from entry into the Giveaway.
  • Acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize awarded.
  • Technical errors, lost entries, or unauthorized interference.

10. PUBLICITY RELEASE

By accepting a prize, winners grant CrossFit, LLC the right to use their name, affiliate name, likeness, and prize details for promotional purposes, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any disputes arising from this Giveaway will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Participants agree that any claims must be resolved through binding arbitration in California under AAA rules, and waive their right to a jury trial.

12. PRIVACY

Information collected in connection with the Giveaway will be used in accordance with CrossFit, LLC’s Privacy Policy, available at https://privacy.crossfit.com/.
