Scaling:
Today’s workout is a single-modality gymnastics effort. More advanced athletes should challenge their muscular stamina and move through the reps as quickly as possible. Less-experienced athletes who have the capacity to perform a few strict handstand push-ups should look to accumulate as many as possible in a 15-minute window. Athletes without the capacity to perform strict handstand push-ups should choose modifications that work overhead pressing strength (e.g., handstand push-up negatives — no more than 30 today — standing or seated dumbbell shoulder presses, piked push-ups, or push-ups).

Coaching cues:
Just as your feet generally point forward in a squat, your hands should generally point forward in the handstand push-up. The hands may turn out slightly, as often do the feet in a squat, but aim to point your fingers toward the wall with thumbs toward each other to maximize balance and strength throughout each rep.

broke my personal best from 2014 which was 21:55, however 2015-2016 my times for this wod were in the range of 33-42min, so I'm not sure why my time was so good back then. So it's's certainly awesome to finally break this questionable PB!
Focussed on doing quick reps. Breakdown:
10, then at the start of 1:00
EMOM 5 HSPUs to 50
EMOM 4 HSPUs to 94
then 2x3 with a little bit less rest to hit the 21min, last set started at 20:45.
I must say that this wod was perfect for me today, my glutes are still sore from the 10k last week and filthy 50. Even though I'm always surprised how much I flex my quads when doing HSPUs (or strict Press).

Globo wod: As rxed. If your globo doesn't allow HSPU or there's no where to do them sub 100 standing strict dumbbell shoulder presses at 60-75 percent of your bodyweight total. 15 minute cap. Note weight and time to comments. Finish with 3-5 minutes of a plank hold if you're doing the dumbbell sub.
