Step 1: Contact a Gym

Local CrossFit coaches and gym owners want to hear from you and learn about your goals, so please reach out. Ask about their schedule, prices, and classes to learn if CrossFit is a good fit for you.

Step 2: Join A Class

In a typical one-hour CrossFit class, athletes complete modified versions of the same workout together, and the coach will guide you through step-by-step.

Step 3: Learn the Fundamentals

Your gym will help you safely start your CrossFit journey, no matter how fit you are. Coaches teach you the foundational movements and adjust workouts to your fitness level.

Step 4: Commit, Connect, and Crush Your Goals

As you progress, you'll not only improve your fitness but also become a valued member of the CrossFit community. Regular attendance and dedication will help you achieve personal goals and even inspire others. You'll build lasting friendships, cheer each other on, and celebrate milestones together, making CrossFit a place where you belong and thrive.

About Us

CrossFit South Bay was one of the first 100 affiliates in 2007. Our community has grown from 8 people in a park to a "fitness family" of hundreds who come together to motivate, challenge and support each other on our individual fitness journeys. Our goal is to one day grow our amazing community to thousands nationwide. Thanks to our staff, coaches and long time members, CFSB has become an amazing place not just for fitness, but for inspiration
