Step 1: Contact a Gym

Local CrossFit coaches and gym owners want to hear from you and learn about your goals, so please reach out. Ask about their schedule, prices, and classes to learn if CrossFit is a good fit for you.

Step 2: Join A Class

In a typical one-hour CrossFit class, athletes complete modified versions of the same workout together, and the coach will guide you through step-by-step.

Step 3: Learn the Fundamentals

Your gym will help you safely start your CrossFit journey, no matter how fit you are. Coaches teach you the foundational movements and adjust workouts to your fitness level.

About Us

CrossFit Portsmouth was founded in 2009. Over the years, the gym and membership have grown as the methodology and coaching staff produced real results. In 2017 CrossFit Portsmouth evolved into The Port. We represent a broad range of health and fitness services with the core of our training revolving around the principles and patterns of CrossFit, as it is unarguably one of the most effective approaches available.
