Felipe, 13 years and counting for the Zone Diet for me. Not too many adjustments along the way either. 5 blocks at meals, at least double fat. 2-3 block snacks.

Firstly how do you get good nutritious food to lower income families. This is where majority of the problem lies.
Secondly, I think you should watch the 4th episode of Down to Earth available on Netflix or YouTube or Amazon. This episode highlights the residents of Sardinia. Here there are a high number of centenarians and their diet consists mainly of Carbs. In addition there are similar cases in Japan where their diet is 10:1 carbs to protein.
I also belive that the public needs to be educated about the type of carbs thst should be consumed. There's nothing wrong with eating wholegrain foods.
