Jody,
As amazing as you feel so far, it just keeps getting better when you stay consistent - if you can believe that! I was 100# heavier before doing CrossFit. Rely on your CrossFit community. No connections will be as real as the ones with the people that help you stay alive.
Jody,
Your story is beautiful. Congratulations for your determination and tenacity to achieve your goal! Keep it up. The community is behind you.
Well done Jody, keep going!!
Such a great presentation of the realities of the struggle. Great story!
Incredible story. Amazing work, Jody! Keep inspiring others around you.
Really good job Jody. Proud of the work you've put in. I'm sure you feel way more capable. Keep it up!
Side-story -- I had to talk at a funeral of a long-time military friend, and I knew it was going to be an emotional event for me, and asked a buddy of mine if he had any suggestions on how I might get through it without crying. He said "Yes! Ever heard of Square breathing?" He explained it to me. Interestingly, after practicing it, I found that you can't cry when your lungs are full and you control your breathing. It's a physiological thing, kinda like you can't sneeze unless you at least blink your eyes. It worked great! :-}

Pretty awesome Jody!
Incredible work by Jody and her trainers. There are a lot of great people out there like her who are willing to put in the effort if they are given the right nutritional advice. The information needed to change lives is out there, but it's unevenly distributed. What is being taught in our CrossFit boxes cannot be found in most medical school curriculums. I'm excited to see CrossFit Health and the physician's network bridge this divide.
Thank you for sharing your story!
I love this! So wonderful.
Love everything about this! Such an inspiration.
This is a great story about incredible determination and a very supportive community, but it also makes me sad. Essential knowledge like this about nutrition should be taught in every middle school. Instead, we don't even teach doctors about it.
I'm teaching CrossFit nutrition in my MS Health classes....have been for about 6 years now.
Soooo Genuine!
Thank you for sharing your incredible journey from struggle to success. So happy for you and your family!
Amazing story Jody! You are an inspiration to millions and have a story that people need to hear.
Congratulations Jody! Continue to boldly share your story of triumph and you can help save lives!
Jody, you are an amazing human! Incredibly proud of you.
