Stimulus and Strategy:
This benchmark workout builds stamina and strength throughout the entire body. The goal is to lift as heavy as possible without failing a rep, demonstrating major technical faults, or putting the barbell down. The key to accomplishing all three is deliberate movement on every rep and finding grit as each set progresses.
In the set of 15, reps 1-7 should feel manageable, reps 8-12 will require focus and challenge your barbell stamina, and reps 13-15 should test both your mental toughness and movement quality under fatigue. Plan for 3-4 minutes of rest between sets and use the same load for the entire workout. Fatigue will accumulate with each set, but the descending rep scheme is designed to help you maintain the same weight with solid mechanics throughout.

Btw 4-5 minutes per rounds. rounds 15 & 12 were pretty challenging as expected. Rested overhead some, front rack some, and hang.

So I remember doing this before where we could do re-grips when the bar is resting on the hip crease. I did the workout thusly. But is that cheating? I saw a few videos linked to mainsite where the athletes were doing short rests/regrips on the hip crease/thighs. What’re y’all’s thoughts?

Touch and go's only. Anything done while still holding the bar is fair game in my book.
Totally legal. Watch the video from the 2021 or 2022 post. Although I can confirm resting in that position isn’t exactly the easiest!

115lbs -that was tough. PR might be above 125 but I couldn’t find records and remember doing it with 125. Grip fatigue really surprised me here even with hook grip. Probably not relaxing as much as I should’ve. Last 3 in each set felt weak and slowed down. Back is all jacked up from camping /:

No heavy Gwen for me ATM-kept to 55#, throughout. Dramatic Italian opera aria soundtrack was giving serial killer. Ever notice how "bad guys" always listen to opera while working out in movies!? Weird
I only intend to murder a protein & Creatine shake. Until Friday, all you superheros with the big #s going up!!!

Previous attempt at 135 had 3 breaks between each round. Today I completed all 15-12-9 touch-and-go clean and jerks unbroken and finished in 7:38.
Originally planned to attempt 185, but wasn't feeling it. I tried 155 fasted this morning and failed. After breakfast and refueling, I came back later and completed 135 unbroken. Based on how it felt after eating, I think 155 is there with proper fueling and pacing.
Working toward CrossFit Quarterfinals in 2027. Feedback is always appreciated.
