Stimulus and Strategy:
Today’s workout is a previous Open workout. Be sure to look at your score from 2024 to help you navigate this effort. In the original workout, there was a 15-minute time cap; however, for today, if you need to push past that mark to finish, do it. Try to hang on to unbroken sets of the snatches for as long as possible. On the burpees, just keep moving — even moving slowly is better than not moving at all. The loading for the dumbbell should allow you to complete your set of 21 in 2 sets or fewer.

M 37 started with 20lb kb for 21’s then 50lb dumbbell for 15/9 rounds
19:38 - hurt my back a few days ago so still minding that

Also hiked to a mountain view point for 5 km today part of which I had to carry my kid up the switch backs probably 60 lbs total on my back at that point plus lugging my bear gun

10:32 Rx. I did it scaled in the open in 2024 so no direct comparison. I was really going after Luis's time around low 10+ min, but my transitions from burpees to snatches were all a couple of seconds longer than they needed to be. The non-alternating snatches are sneaky on the shoulder fatigue on top of the cardio burst. A truly romantic V-day twist :) Individual rounds 4:24/3:48/2:19.
