Burps were the slowest part for 25.1 as I’m just not that fast with them. Confident I could have had the same result with a 50# DB. 25.1 did impact the other half of the workout but I will chalk up at least 30 seconds to stopping to help with someone’s DL technique.
Wild that you did so well on that whole other workout after only 3 minutes rest from a great score on 25.1! Awesome job!!!

James there is a scorecard on the Open website. It works like this: 3 burpees, 3 HC2 OH brings you to 6 reps, then 1 15ft lunge is 1 rep, so 7, second 15 ft lunge is 8. So 1 rep for each 15 ft lunge.

204 reps for me! Utilized hand changes on the S2O to keep them unbroken. Slogged through the burpees best I could, but did not redline it. Could’ve pushed for a few more reps but unlikely to get through the round of 24.

Globo wod: The open is here. The best bet for doing the Open is to reach out to your local affiliate and see if you can jump in to a class or Friday Night Lights. Check map.crossfit.com to find one near you and reach out. You will have a blast and meet new people. Also don't forget to register at games.crossfit.com. Now for those doing this in a garage or globo, if you are doing it for a score pay close attention to movement and workout standards. Bring some marking tape and a tape measure for the 15ft length. Also try to go during off peak and set up somewhere where there wont be much traffic. The good news is that for all globo goers this is as Rxed today. Most places should have a 15 foot length to lunge in. Have fun!!!
Also note of importance, if you are doing a film submission pay close attention to the requirements for a video submission. Don't get your score invalidaded because of an oversight.
