de lo más horrible que hice en mucho tiempo. No tengo kb o manc pesadas.
Gracias CF (no estoy siendo irónico)
hice los deadlifts, camine 30mts, despues me olvide los DL y camine otros 30 mts, despues hice los DL y camine 30 mts, despues hice los deadifts y camine 15mts antes de que sonara mi reloj.

HIIT on treadmill 15 minutes
completed at the YMCA and imagine that, no 150lb KB's. weird. they do have up to 120 lb DBs, so tried that:
0.75 round in 3 minutes.
the farmer carry's were just too much weight for me to complete, too many breaks immediately and restarted with what I could find:
x1 40kg KB, x1 48kg KB
7 rounds + 9 DL's.
just switched left and right weights each round to try and balance it out.
8 rounds in 12 minutes of:

Rx
150lbs of plates on each side, strapped together and carried with rings. Made for limited range DLs but the added movement made running the 25' shuttles quite tricky. Had to pause at 4min to put on steel toe boots before I broke my foot with the weights so add what penalty you will.
7 rounds + 3
good on you for figuring out a way to do this RXd Sam! I figured no one would due to the equipment constraints.
Where there's a will 😉
With 2x95# Barbells
5rds + 9 DL + 25' (finished rnd 6 at 12:43, so distance was an estimate)
We had a pair of 100# DBs but after a couple DL reps in warm-up I decided it would be more challenging to use 95# BBs - and boy was it to keep them even remotely steady. Didn't find out until afterwards that we had some 5# plates stashed away - could have done this with 105# BBs. Grip was definitely worked today.
Chris S., I focused hard on making sure my arches were good and knees didn't cave. Thanks for the forceful backup.
I’m not a beginner but don’t have access to 150 pound kettle bells, so this is what I did,
20 vest to make myself heavier
2 #35 dumb bells
walked 150 feet out and back to make it
more of a challenge for me

Well done! Looks like you didn't stop moving.

Great job! I couldn't agree more about keeping them parallel.

Hi Az, it was awkward and slowed me down, but that's probably the point of kettlebell DLs
60kg total KBs…9 rounds plus 9 deadlifts

Globo wod: follow as posted. If necessary go the odd object route, especially if your gym doesn't allow you to carry your dumbbells outside. A backup option is to do 1 minute dumbbell holds or farmers carries for shorter lengths that your gym size allows. If 50lb dumbbells are the largest available men do 25 deadlifts, women 17 per round. 70 lb dumbbells men 18 women 12.
Are the weights for both combined or weight of single kb?
Well, I can't speak with authority, but given the "s" at the end of word for the suggested equipment, my initial take on it would be to try and get pairs of each weight... although looking at the RX'd weight, the women's weight is the heaviest one that is available in a competition style kettlebell, whereas the men's RX is outside the range of what is sold. So...?
I'd say it's 106/150 for a single kettlebell/dumbbell. Because otherwise they would not have to be called "heavy" kettlebells, as 53s are the standard 1 pood kettlebells, for example.
weights are for single KBs. ensuring that we will all have to sub... have fun farmer-carrying barbells all over your backyard
Champions Club Scaling Notes
RANT
As you can see in the picture, doing deadlifts with dumbbells or kettlebells can make it easier for our knees to cave in; I'm just as guilty as anyone for letting this happen sometimes when I'm not thinking about it. So just make sure to give your arches in your feet some extra thought if you're doing the deadlifts with the kettlebells or dumbbells outside of your legs. Don't practice bad habits!
WORKOUT THEMES
Gimmick movements and equipment. Odd object. More functional application of strength and stamina than traditional equipment, but still standard enough for an even playing field across the board.
SHORT MEDIUM LONG
LIGHT
MEDIUM
HEAVY x
STRENGTH SCALE
Max effort deadlift. Or max distance farmer's carry.
STAMINA SCALE
Max distance farmer's carry in 6 minutes. Then spend 6 minutes working up to a 10 RM deadlift (overhand grip, no hook, no alternating)
POWER SCALE
Sub a weighted run for farmers walks. Maybe use a bar for deadlifts.
MY STUFF
Did the back squats from yesterday. 225 for sets of 5 between cleaning stuff
GENERAL FEAR LEVEL: ? I'd guess a 6?
