Peace.
Attempted this workout today with a pair of 10kg dumbbells. Between 12 and 15 burpees / round. I can feel my shoulder somehow tensed and sore is it normal?

Had to be on the gas to make it. Did stay on the gas. Didn't make it. Breaks got to be too long on lunges, those 50s sucked. Tried to get to floor as fast as possible off the top of the box and back to my feet. Focused and took a breath for every box jumps.
It’s a trap! 14m cap: 35lb. Db walking lunges - 20 reps per round, BUT after round 1 took 2:25 I capped the burpee box jumps at 2 minutes and rested 1 minute, still beginning the 20 wtd lunge every 3m. Got (20)-14-14-11-10. Lunges got really hard rounds 4 and 5. Burpee box jumps were slow and steady and box jumps became scary at the end of round 4 and all of round 5
hardest I’ve worked in a while….

As always, I tried my best to simulate likely box jump pace for the tuck jumps. Stopped BTJ at 12-13 in rds 2-4 to give a short break (20-30 sec). Still a burner. Knees felt trashed today, and it did slow me down. I will be feeling this tomorrow.
Nice work. Good push at the end. That was a killer.

Attempted for Rx but only managed to get the following 24" box burpees each round:
18,12,9,9,14
I guess that would be a score of 162
Legs are still wiped from thrusters on Sunday and 5mi run yesterday. Lunges were ugly especially given limited space.

15 minute AMRAP style: 2 rounds + 8 burpee box jumps Rx weight and box.
Total chaos. Went 5 3 min rounds, used 25 DB’s. Started with 20 lunges, only finished 15 burpee BJ when time ran out. Decided to cut each exercise to 15/15. Only made it to 14,12,10,12 on burpee BJ’s for last 4 rounds. No rest at all…
Scaled to 15 burpee box jumps to maintain intensity, finished each round at 2.10.

Generally finished the lunges in 45-50 sec and the 10th bbj with 40 sec to spare. In 5th round I went the full 3 minutes and got to 14 bbj’s.
I can’t imagine anyone getting thru 40 reps in about 2 minutes.

Ditto, I know I'm slow, but I only got to 10 burpees by the end of 3 minutes scaling.

Gonna be curious to see the times posted by some of suspects been doing this 10+ years and HQ hasn't missed many with proper scaling but IMO (non-expert) they missed this one...intermediate scale finished 1st round with 3 seconds left the last 4 rounds just went till round ended got 14 bbj's in each round and without rest right into walking lunges were brutal. Maybe it was just me sucking today??? We shall see good luck!!!
12 min of pure hell !!!

RANT
Nothing to rant about
WORKOUT THEMES
Monostructural (also gymnastics) and weightlifting. Moderate output followed by a rest that is around equal the work (probably - didn't test this one out yet) Squatting with unilateral loading, odd object, range of motion, jumping with accuracy, changing orientation, clearing an obstacle
SHORT MEDIUM LONG
LIGHT
MEDIUM x
HEAVY
STAMINA SCALE
5 rounds as listed, no rest between
POWER SCALE
Sub jumping lunges for walking lunges and lighten the weight up quite a bit.
STRENGTH SCALE
10 rounds, cut the reps in half, rest 1 minute between rounds
MY STUFF
