Every minute on the minute, until failure:
1 power clean
2 power cleans
3 power cleans
… etc.

Continue this sequence until you are no longer able to complete the power cleans within the minute.

Stimulus and Strategy:
Today’s workout is a test of barbell stamina. In the first few sets, expect a lot of rest; however, the rest will begin to disappear very soon. You may want to consider a combination of quick singles and touch-and-go reps. Consider using a weight that is challenging, but allows you to get to 10 minutes.

Scaling:
Reduce the load of the barbell.

To reduce the complexity of the power cleans, perform hang power cleans or dumbbell power cleans.

In case of an injury or limitation, consider sumo deadlift high pulls or kettlebell swings.

Intermediate option:
Every minute on the minute, until failure:
1 power clean
2 power cleans
3 power cleans
… etc.

Continue this sequence until you are no longer able to complete the power cleans within the minute.

Actually screwed up this workout till my instructor pointed it out.
I was doing 1 power clean pause, then 2, then 3etc.. instead of adding up each round. So I was doing 6 cleans per round until round 6. In total 66 power cleans @115 male intermediate.

Did our Friday Bulletproof workout instead. Compressed for time again so we did:


Half Murph

For time w/ 20# PC

50 Pull-ups

100 Pushups

Day 55. Wanted to get some work with today's movement so did a 5-minute EMOM of 5 PC at 115# as part of warmup (was trying out a new pair of shoes too). Did the Murph reps Cindy style and added a 35# sandbag to the first 3 rounds of squats, but stopped with the sandbag there after deciding it was a bit much for today. I am deconditioned for this right now, but it was a good test of the knees and left shoulder with the added weight of the PC through the whole thing.

Thanks ya’ll! Didn’t hold back today, had nothin left just like I feel at the end of a full Murph, that’s why I know I am a bit deconditioned. Those runs, especially the the second, were pretty slow too.

F32 - 40 kg barbell - 10 rounds.

No problem until round 4, after which I didn’t fee completely reset heart rate wise by round 5.

Went unrboken until round 7, after which I started regripping at the bottom of each rep.

Finished round 10 with 15 seconds to spare. Honestly should have and could have done round 11 but didn’t have the mental stamina today.
