Rest Day!

POOD - POUNDS & METRICS

For time:

3 rounds of:

30 Kettlebell Swing, 1.5/2 pood

30 Wall Ball Shots, 14/20 lb

Row 500 meters

Then:

2 rounds of:

20 Kettlebell Snatches, 1.5/2 pood

20 Box Jumps, 20/24’’

Run 400 meters

Then:

10 Turkish Get-ups, 1.5/2 pood

10 Medicine Ball Clean, 14/20 lb

Ski Erg 300 meters

For me this is the ultimate testimony to CrossFit Poetry.

The WOD is a tribute to the 3 different

measurements/units used in CrossFit, celebrating the multiple variables used in workouts!

First: We have the descending rep scheme, along with the descending rounds.

Second: We start with the easier exercises while increasing difficulty as the rounds and reps are lowered.

Third: Each segment starts with exercises that cleverly celebrate the Pood, the pounds and the metric systems!

The WOD took me 10-15 minutes to come up with, but 1.5 month to Finnish, since I was missing the last lbs exercise to keep the balance between the POOD, POUNDS & METRICS. The MBC was the last piece in the puzzle!

For me this is the epigamia of CrossFit Poetry!

I hope you will appreciate it as much as I enjoy creating it🙂
