The HCPL1 is a private course aimed at helping licensed healthcare providers and healthcare administrators understand the role of fitness and nutrition in quality of life and longevity. The course also provides an introduction to the application of fitness and nutrition to the principles of healthcare.
The CrossFit Level 1 Certificate Course is designated for a maximum of 14 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and provides an introduction to CrossFit’s methodology and foundational movements and includes lectures, movement sessions, and workouts. These elements enable participants to apply CrossFit for personal use and in training others.
The educational content in the Level 1 and the HCPL1 is identical; the same methodology and movements are used in both courses. However, in the HCPL1, healthcare professionals will have the opportunity to: – Network and share best practices. – Participate in roundtable discussions about how CrossFit Health can support the healthcare community.
Additionally, CrossFit is excited to announce the first Healthcare Professional Level 2 Course (HCPL2), held June 17-18. Licensed healthcare professionals and healthcare administrators who have completed either the HCPL1 or the standard Level 1 Certificate Courses are eligible to attend.
