The third and final workout of the 2026 CrossFit Open, presented by Air National Guard, featured burpees over the bar, cleans, and thrusters. The reps stayed the same throughout the workout, but the weight on the barbell increased every 2 rounds. The 16-minute time cap was very tight this week with only a few dozen athletes worldwide finishing the Rx’d version.
We’ve seen this ascending weight pattern for thrusters before in Open Workout 25.2 (a repeat of Open Workout 22.3) but that workout had fewer total thrusters with 21 reps at weight 1, 18 reps at weight 2, and 15 reps at weight 3.
Performance by Country
For Week 3, the top three countries by Rx’d participation rate were South Korea with 92%, Australia with 90%, and the United Kingdom with 87%.
Once again very few athletes finished within the time cap, so we’ll take a look at athletes who got over 204 reps. This means they got at least 1 rep on the cleans at the heaviest weight. Based on this metric, the top countries were South Korea with 16%, Canada with 14%, and Spain with 12%.

Workout Analysis by Division
Many more athletes chose the Rx’d version this week compared to last week. For women aged 18-34, 81% performed 26.3 as Rx’d compared to 70% on 26.2. For men aged 18-34, 92% performed 26.3 as Rx’d compared to 88% on 26.2.

The most challenging part of this workout was the thrusters. Most athletes can clean quite a bit more weight than they can thruster. This can be seen below in the spikes on the graph at both sets of thrusters at weight 2. Those thruster reps likely took the longest for many athletes, leading to more athletes getting time-capped during those sets.
It’s not visible in the graph below, but there was also a significant pile-up at rep 204, meaning the athletes failed to get a single rep at the heaviest clean weight.
Community Cup Tiers
For the 2026 CrossFit Games season, the tier you compete against in the Community Cup is based on the level you receive after completing and submitting scores for all three workouts in the Open.
The table below gives you an idea where your score on 26.3 would put you in terms of tiers. For example, Women aged 16-54 need a score of at least 174 reps to make it into the Advanced tier on 26.3.
Percentiles by Division and Version
Below are percentile tables for Individuals, Masters, and Teenagers, with details for each version of the workout. You can see the breakdown of how many reps it took to achieve a particular percentile. For example, for Rx’d Women aged 18-34, a score of 220 reps got you into the 90th percentile.
These percentiles are comparing you against your division and workout version, which is different from your overall division percentile (compared against all versions combined).
