Adam Neiffer (CF-L3) owns 14-year affiliate CrossFit Fort Vancouver, where he coaches three days a week. Additionally, Neiffer coaches two-time CrossFit Games champion Justin Medeiros and perennial Games team CrossFit Fort Vancouver.

At the 2022 NOBULL CrossFit Games in Madison, Wisconsin, Stephane Rochet chatted with Neiffer about the differences and similarities between coaching everyday athletes and athletes at the highest level.

“The thing that strikes me first is there’s so many more similarities than differences between your everyday athlete and your CrossFit Games athlete,” Neiffer says. “And it starts with, we’re all people. We’re all human beings.”

Listen as Neiffer and Rochet discuss CrossFit methodology, Neiffer’s journey from competitive athlete to competitive coach, the evolution of training in CrossFit, training for life and competition, and the needs of athletes of all abilities.
