On Sunday, June 20, 2021, CrossFit Sanitas and OUTAthletics joined forces for a community event and fundraiser in support of LGBTQ+ athletes in Boulder, Colorado.

“OUTAthletics is the world’s largest initiative in the fitness space in the LGBTQ+ community,” Giancarlo Graziani, head coach at CrossFit Sanitas, explains.

The organization hosts events in fitness studios all over the U.S. to show local athletes in the community they have a safe and inclusive place to work out. All are welcome.

“It’s just an opportunity to break a sweat, have fun, and feel good about yourself and the life that you’re living,” Graziani says.

Can somebody please enlighten me as to where it is NOT safe for LGBTQ+ people to hang out these days? Is this really an issue?
