In 20 minutes, establish:
1-rep-max front squat
1-rep-max hang power clean

Post the total weight lifted across both lifts to comments, and submit your score as part of the 2025 Community Cup, presented by YETI.

Coaching cues:
When initiating the lifting phase of the front squat, focus on elevating your chest and shoulders upward toward the ceiling. This may help reduce issues of the hips elevating at a faster rate than shoulders, which may cause you to lean excessively forward.

No rack clean to FS - 80# failed 85#, 10# more than last clean, I think, but my lower back is tweaked. Hitting the pool & calling the start of maybe more than 1 rest day.

Also happy to see my weight going down. Exercise has never been a problem for me, but diet has. These workouts have been training me mentally and it has been helping me in other parts of my life such as self control over food. When I feel the pain in a WOD I can relate that to feeling hunger. It's only temporary.

Goal right now is to eventually get down to 170-180 range as I know that will be my sweet spot for strength and stamina as well as a better physic.
