There’s no such thing as a free lunch. I think for most docs, it’s not big money but literally a lunch or dinner. While it’s the professional norm, it’s important for us docs to remember we are not in just any other profession. 

I think most docs are honest, at least we like to think we are. Or are we justifying behavior. I find this article interesting (The dishonestly of honest people):
