OVERVIEW
Whether you’re new to CrossFit or an experienced athlete looking to hone your skills, the CrossFit Fundamentals course is designed to provide an overview of the foundational methodology and movements of CrossFit.
This one-day in-person course with CrossFit’s Seminar Staff includes topics such as:
- An introduction to CrossFit methodology.
- An introduction to foundational and common movements.
- The basics of nutrition.
- A group workout.
Please note that completion of this course does not result in a credential or certification to train others in CrossFit. This course is solely intended for personal use and to introduce participants to CrossFit’s foundational methodology and movements.

Each small-group session features immediate feedback, aiming to hone the technique of every participant.
In-depth practical sessions on foundational and common CrossFit movements and lectures on the CrossFit methodology, basic nutrition, and practical application form a comprehensive curriculum and balanced course format.
The course concludes with a group workout that can be scaled to the abilities of all athletes regardless of their skill set.

No, completion of this course does not result in a credential or certification to train others in CrossFit. This course is solely intended for personal use and to introduce participants to CrossFit’s foundational methodology and movements.
Currently, we are in the pilot phase of this course and have chosen Dallas and Bridgeport as the initial cities to host it. We plan to expand to other cities later in 2023. Thank you for your interest, and please keep an eye on the Courses Near You page for future course locations.
Registrations canceled within seven days of the date of the course will be assessed a 10% cancellation fee. If a transfer or course credit is granted and a cancellation fee assessed, registrants are responsible for the difference in fees when applying the credit to an alternative course. Credits are valid for six months and are non-transferable.
At this time, the course will be conducted in English. As we expand, we will begin offering this course in other languages.
