FilFest 2010 will be held on Feb 19-20 in Miami Beach, FL! CrossFit affiliates will gather to discuss CrossFit, best business practices, training, and a variety of other topics. Kids have unique needs in the CrossFit setting, so if you want to teach CrossFit to groups of kids, you'll need to be certified by CrossFit Kids and affiliate with CrossFit Kids.
CrossFit Kids will start holding additional certifications at pre-selected affiliate locations around the U.S. in 2010. International certs will also be on the schedule in the future. Dates are already starting to roll out. For more information, go to Crossfit Kids.

What should be the age limit of a masters event in CrossFit? For swimming, the term "Masters" starts at age 18, but in professional golf, the starting age for seniors is 50. Or is the concept of a CrossFit Masters event ridiculous? Would you watch one? Would you participate in one?

The "Affiliate Think Tank" held at CrossFit Montclair (NJ) on Sunday, Nov 15th.
Numerous CrossFit affiliates from across the Northeast gathered on Sunday to share information and discuss best practices. It was a free event (hosted by CrossFit Montclair) for affiliates, by affiliates.
