Dr. Allison Strnad, M.D., Dr. Jaime Seeman, M.D., and CrossFit’s Nicole Christensen (CF-L4) joined moderator Mike Giardina (CF-L4) at the 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games in Madison, Wisconsin, to answer those questions and more in this CrossFit Health panel discussion.

The Brain Energy Theory of Mental Illness With Dr. Chris Palmer

1

In this webinar, Harvard psychiatrist and researcher Christopher M. Palmer, M.D., joins Mike Giardina for a discussion about the Brain Energy Theory, which states that mental disorders are metabolic disorders. As a member of the audience at the CrossFit Health Panel on “Bridging the Gap Between Fitness and Healthcare,” Bachofner posed a lot of great questions to the panel, and after learning Bachofner is also a healthcare professional, Giardina decided to continue the conversation.
