I've been watching John since shortly after his debut of "Obese to Beast". I love to see how far he's come, his stance on topics, and his persistence. On the days I lack motivation, he helps get me there.

Macro view template analysis

Workout Structure:

First day was followed “For Time” template. This exercise was a couplet modality that was combined of a long distance movement from metabolic conditioning modality and a high skill weightlifting movement. Cardiorespiratory and stamina played a major role in this WOD. Moreover, the aerobic system was dominant energy pathway in this program.

Second day was designed based on reverse pyramid that the number of reps per round is reduced by 3 and followed “For Time” template. This

exercise was a couplet modality that was combined of a core exercise from gymnastic element with a throwing movement The training purpose was to improving the stamina. This WOD was fire the core and shoulder muscles because both movements challenge the hip and shoulders. Stamina and cardiorespratory played a major role in this WOD. Moreover, the lactic acid was dominant energy pathway in this program.

Third day was a classic benchmark that followed “For Time” template. This exercise was a couplet modality that was combined of a moderate weightlifting element with a high skill gymnastic element. The biggest challenge of this program is high heart rate training. Stamina and strength played a major role in this WOD. Moreover, the lactic acid was dominant energy pathway in this program.

Conclusion

As can be seen, 2 energy pathways (aerobic and lactic acid) were challenged in this cycle. Moreover, the cardiorespiratory, stamina and strength played a major role in this circle of programming. Also, power is latent in the nature of these programs.

As a final note, just “for time” template was used for programming in this cycle.

Enjoy your rest day and recover your physical and mental dimensions

Do you know that:

  • You have not published any triplet modality WODs in the last 42 days. The last one was for 200422!!!

  • In addition, you just used “for time” template for design last 3 day’s WOD?
