Jeremie "JBo" "Bubba" Border, 28, of Mesquite, Texas, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), based in Torii Station, Okinawa, Japan, died Sept. 1, 2012, in Batur Village, Afghanistan, from wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with small-arms fire. He is survived by his parents, Mary Border and Robert Harris; sisters, DeLaynie Peek, Katie Border, Ashley Harris and Amanda Pereira; nephews, Robbie and Kayden Pereira; and brothers-in-law, Jason Peek and Roberto Pereira.

Took time to keep good form on OHSs. Probably could've broken the pull-ups less to save time.

And after that I finally got my DUs back. Strung 46 on my second attempt. I was getting frustrated. I'll hit Triple 3 next week.

Doing sets of unbroken pullups maintains the stimulus of a legless rope climb somewhat.

Subbed 2 legless rope climbs to 8 feet, beginning seated. All else as rx'd. 10 rounds + 3 OHS.

Good one. OHS unbroken though I missed 2 squat snatches entries in later rounds. Bench press unbroken through round 8. For the legless climbs, I let my feet stay on the ground as I began the first climb up, then on the second climb, I picked them up immediately, to try to make it closer to the standard. Still, this was a scale-down from a true 15-foot legless climb, as I was able to basically get off the rope halfway through, saving my grip. This was a good scale for me though, as it allowed me to do the climbs without too much added resting. Elbows aren't too sore from this, and pec feels great.

subbed rope climb for 3 climbs on a towel starting laying on the floor. It was kinda easy but I felt that I was working my grip more than if I did pull-ups
