I never cease to be amazed at how much little kids can have such good natural form. Look at Levi...triple extension, bar close to the body, elbows up and out. Who's his trainer?

bingo, just read last 2 musings, as they were stuck in the filter for a long time.

Regards war...precision and cost are the key drivers from a US and western perspective. We can now take out a bridge with 2-3 precision-guided munitions, without destroying the towns on either side of the bridge with dumb bombs. We can immobilize a tank with 1-2 rounds, without also destroying the buildings it hides amongst. But that precision is more expensive, so we have fewer of them, so we are less capable of the wanton destruction seen in WWI and WWII even if we wanted to.

Great words on the place of strength in overall fitness. I'm taking a short break from CF main to pursue greater strength thru CF Football, but that's b/c I'm weak relative to cardiovascular fitness. Can't wait to get stronger, then dive back into the mainsite WODs.
