Anyone else see ESPN's SEC storied last night? A commentator said Herschel Walker was the fittest 48-year-old man in the world. I'm sure he's pretty fit, but I'd love to see him compete against some of the Masters CrossFit studs.

Just got done time was 8:04 new to crossfit so wasn't sure if they were strict pull ups or not, since those are the only ones I know how to do I just did those haha.

Fastest WOD ever!

Limited by grip on pullups. Forearms/grip blown up from previous 2 WODs + work. Had to drop down from the bar after every 2-3 reps. This was much easier than Fran. Could've gone substantially faster if I could've hung onto the bar longer.

I have tendonitis in my elbow/bicept so I used exercise bands for pull-ups. Using a really wide grip was really effective for avoiding pain so I will have to remember that for future exercises. Would not mind trying this one again when the tedonitis passes.

Feel like a big dummy since it did not occur to me that my grip would be smoked from the deadlift and the pull-ups would be significantly harder. I thought I was going to be in the high 2's or low 3 minute range.

As rx'd, 3:52.

I have forgotten how potent these quick "storm" WODs can be...coming off the pull-up bar after the round of 21 was a real kick in the teeth. Did all unbroken, which shows that I spent more than a little time gasping between movements. But I was very pleased to get through the pull-ups unbroken. I wanted to break very badly (fortunately, I did not) in the round of 15, and I wanted to hang on very badly (fortunately, I did) in the round of 9. As expected, this felt a lot like Fran. Then, about 5 minutes after completing, my forearms were on fire and in actual pain. I'm still having trouble typing. Fran + a little bonus.

D.S. and usual suspects, I got filtered earlier...well done, all.

Spencer Hendel, sub 3 min...so that's sort of a benchmark pace.

#82/John W, that's up to you. Some WODs will be 3 minutes, some will be 40. If you read the comments, you'll see that some people supplement the WOD with other work, some do a second workout later in the day, and some (most) do just the WOD (preceded by a warm-up that can be a good workout in itself). If you go all out on the shorter ones, you'll likely be plenty gassed to not want/need to do anything else...because tomorrow might bring one of the long ones. Good luck in whatever route you choose.
