Wednesday 140212

Set rower for 3 intervals of 2 minutes of rowing and 2 minutes of "rest." During the first rest period, perform max pull-ups; the second rest period, max burpees; and the third rest period, max GHD sit-ups (hand to floor).

Add all reps to calories for each row and post sum to comments.

I like! I like a lot!!

No point on trying to pace your self on this one...I figure try to stay consistent on the row and go hard on each one of the " rest" period, give yourself a 10 second gap to catch your breath before the next row and start pulling away... well that's my game plan anyway...I wonder how the rest of you guys will attack this one.

@Joe N, great job with the 100 DUs. Excellent time. That's pretty much as quick as you can do them. Games athletes do them 2 per second, so around 50 seconds for 100. You are there.

I don't like seeing GHD so often. First, I don't have one. Second they are too expensive. Third, I'm a carport gym guy and the GHD stuff makes me feel like these routines are designed for those affluent enough to afford a box membership.

Martin @ 132 - I used to think the same thing. No where to do the GDHS. But I created a home made contraption and worked out well.

You can look up ways to build one using 2x4's and something for padding. There are many interesting ways to make it work. good luck

I had a continuous running clock, therefore 20-30 seconds was taken up each round just running back and forth or setting up the contraption i used for the GHD's. I did make up a little time with the burpees which could be done right next to the rower.

Not sure how each movement broke out, was more focused on maintaining overall count. PU's broken into sets of 15-10-5, burpees were slow and steady, and GHD's were unbroken. Nice quick wod.
