@Alex, agreed. I had to ditch paleo when I started doing CF Football programming. Had to eat potatoes to get carbs and calories. Paleo is great but it's tough to gain muscle or weight on it. For maintenance is it awesome. For losing it is wonderful.

19:56 and I'm no fan of rowing!! Intervalled the last 1000k with 10 x hard rows (made up roughly 100m) and 10 x more mediocre rows (which still made up around 80m), I found this engaged the brain and helped me improve my overall time within the last 5th of the workout.

"Cameron"

For time:
50 Walking lunge steps
25 Chest to bar pull-ups
50 Box jumps, 24 inch box
25 Triple-unders
50 Back extensions
25 Ring dips
50 Knees to elbows
25 Wallball "2-fer-1s", 20 pound ball
50 Sit-ups
15 foot Rope climb, 5 ascents

As rx'd, ~24:43.

(Time is approximate b/c my watch stopped at the beginning of C2B pull-ups and then briefly again during sit-ups - I added 2 minutes to time of 22:43.)

Felt like a mash-up of Filthy Fifty and Dirty Dozen. Broke C2B pull-ups 10-5-5-5, ring dips 15-5-5, K2E 15-10-8-7-5-5, and "2-fer-1s" 13-5-7. The rest was unbroken. Except of course for the triple-unders, which I did one at a stinkin time. I could get around 3 times, but just barely and with no chance to string them together. Very similar to how my first double-unders went 5 years ago... Just a nice reminder that there's always some new fun skill to learn. Rope climbs at the end were rough after the sit-ups and K2E. I could barely pull my legs up to grab the rope.

Happy Hero Friday! (Hero WOD 100 -woohoo! of 119)

Martone warmup, kb skill work.
20:45 which included a couple of pauses & removal of feet from stretchers because back of hips hurting so bad. About 10 secs each pause - included in time. Pause of row itself not bad. Less than 20 s/m whole time & 2:05 for most part. Sub 2 for first 1500m.
12/8/12: m/39/5'9/175 20:26
Consistency good. About 2:05/500 whole time.

Tired and sore back from heavy DLs and Elizabeth this week.
