My interpretation of it is a Double Kettlebell clean and jerk with 1.5 poods each arm = 3 poods total. Balance being the key here.

Yes, its double kettlebell clean and jerks. Video provided on double kettlebell cleans is a good clue. They are tough. Totally different then doing single kettlebells.

Ok so I'm definitely not in good shape. I am a beginner in basically every sense of the word.As embarrassing as it is to post this I'm going to anyway.

No matching bells so I did burpees. I can barely get 5 PU so muscle ups are out of the question.

@Aaron, to get the stimulus you should have done the KB clean and jerk with just one KB. Much better than burpees. You could have done it with unmatched KBs and simply switched after 5 reps. Congrats on posting. You are only in a competition to better yourself.

2nd round - first 3 KBC&J rx'd then scaled back to 1 pood the rest. MU's were easy. Couldn't push jerk rx'd KB with good form or without push pressing it. 1 pood much easier to push jerk and maintain correct form. That said......

It took me a good year and a half to be able to do a mucle up. But some days are much more intense than others, overall it tends to work out to be a very intense program. The key is the intensity, and I've personally seen amazing results, and I only follow the program in the park (with many subs)

Tougher than expected. KB clean and jerks are still goats of mine - I need better technique here. They wore me out, and made muscle-ups tough, particularly in later rounds. Broke the C&Js 5-5 except for round 1 (unbroken). Started breaking MUs in round 2; had a few fails in round 4 and 5.

Slow but tech not bad after 1st round. Good job opening hands in rach position & getting KB positioned well. Then bring feet & hands out slightly for jerk. Tried to remember to counter balance on way back down. Still couldn't string 3 MU together but tried to focus on good turnout.
