Not having a PU bar on vacation is killing me.

As an aside, everybody (CrossFitter for 10 years or CrossFitter for 10 hours) should click on the "compare to" and read Bingo's newbie post for these WODs. Just excellent stuff. More and more I've found myself browsing the January comment archive just to read his newbie posts.

I did finished Cindy last on 04.10.2013! My result was 16 Rounds and 17 Reps... So I will do this not today.
In 4 weeks I think so is better... for me!

Subbed assisted pull-ups @ 60#. I hate that I'm so bad at pull-ups.
Kept a great pace first 10 minutes, knocked out 9 rounds. Had to wait about 2 minutes to regain the asst pull-up machine.l, and that's right about when lactic acid started calling my chest it's new home.

I'm moving to Silicon Valley for work and, embarrassingly enough, want to plan my living arrangements around the best crossfit in the area. NorCal has a few locations and I've heard good things about Crossfit Palo Alto -> Anyone have recommendations? Which NorCal location is the "best" (or least crowded or best outfitted..however you wish to define)

This is my first posted comment ever. I don't even know what to do today. I did the 6x400 m/25 pull ups on Wednesday. I tore my hand and feel way more sore than I thought I would. Tried the 7x3 hang cleans yesterday and couldn't grip the bar because of the tear. I did my first crossfit workout about 2 months ago, but feel discouraged about all the injuries, rips, and not being able to perform as well as my neighbors I'm working out with (in a neighbors garage). I'm trying to be patient, but how does everyone mentally remind yourself to do what you can and not beat on yourself?

I've been removed from Crossfit for 1.5 years due to torn ligsments and tendons to my left ankle I sustained during a foot pursuit at work. Tried a pace of 78 seconds per round to PR but fell behind about 8 minutes in. One round takes me about 70 seconds in the beginning.
HSPUs are still the hardest part.
Barefoot pistols no problem as always.
Butterfly pull-ups broken in 11/4 in round 11 to 13.

Not bad considering injuries & lack of working out lately. Pushups unbroken until last 2 rounds. Wider grip may have helped. Squats still too slow. Breathing was decent. Back tight, knees out.
6/10/12: Cindy-20 even according to Kaitlyn's count. Pushups unbroken. Good job w/external rotation of arms. Squats - tech not bad. Good job w/weight on o/s of fee & hips back. Need faster pace!

Some of the HSPUs were a little suspect (legs falling down as arms extended) but good baseline to set. Previous for Cindy were 15 rds (in the heat) and 17+3 (pr).
