Wish I could just keep doing it, but I'd lose my house lol. Again thank you guys and girls for everything you taught us and gave us this weekend.

Why do we look so tired? All we did all weekend was move PVC pipe around.

All kidding aside, this was a great weekend spent at Crossfit Morristown. I gain so much knowledge from all the trainers and I will be going back to my box to share. Thank you all for everything.

All I have to say is wow. My experience this weekend at CrossFit Morristown was incredible. Kurtis, Jenn, Keith, Jason, and Denis were all true professionals. Everything from the lectures to the small group sessions were well organized. I highly recommend everyone to go for their Level 1 with this crew! It was a lot of fun and well worth it. I hope your enjoying your coffee Kurtis!

Bodyweight deadlifts? Does this mean weight equal to your bodyweight or just your bodyweight with no added weight? I'm guessing equal to your bodyweight but I want to do it right. Thanks in advance.

Comment #20 - Posted by: Scott at September 1, 2013 7:35 PM

Had a fantastic weekend at CrossFit Morristown. The training crew was beyond phenomenal- they did a great job of breaking down the movements piece by piece so it all made sense. I will definitely remember to keep my knees out (thanks Jenn and Dennis lol). I've already had my fiancé overhead squatting a rug in Target so I can coach her form. Good mls but needs to keep her shoulders active hahaha. Thanks for a great weekend guys.

Thanks again for letting me pay respect to the Hotshots Crew with you as well!

What an amazing weekend at CF Morristown! No matter how long you've been doing CrossFit, this course is worth it. It will tune up your moves, give you more why for your how, and bring together the big picture of what we're doing in a way you've never seen it before. I was nervous about spending the money, but I'd do it again....and again....and again.

Big thanks to Kurtis, Keith, Jenn, Dennis, and Jason. A true honor to learn from you all.

Freaking awesome weekend at Crossfit Invoke for the Level 1 with Matt, Christmas, Meag, Joe, and Austin! All I have to say is that I've never hated a PVC pipe so much in my life up until this weekend! The knowledge in coaching and in anything Crossfit that this crew had was just mind blowing. I was stoked beyond belief when I saw Matt Chan and Christmas Abbott the first day I walked into class. Heck, I think their off time was spent taking pictures with everyone! Overall, awesome staff, top-notch facility at Invoke, and an awesome community made the weekend!

Done after shoulder triumverate.
DL @ 185

Doesn't seem to make sense to go all out on rows. Just good leg drive, then try to get through DL & box jumps quicker. Need to speed transition from row to DL.

As rx'd, deadlifts at 185. Time - 9:05 (PR).

Christine is a straight up nasty WOD for me. Felt like I really hit it hard today, but it's only a 17 second PR. I'm happy with that, but don't see how I could shave much more time off. Sure, I could have gone sub-9 with some stronger mental focus during the transitions (e.g., pick up the bar faster)...but that's about it. Unbroken - one tiny rest at the top of a deadlift in round 3. One short rest after coming down too far from the box, also round 3. Rows were 1:48, 1:50, 1:52. Round splits were 2:55, 3:05, 3:05.
