1) gorgeous photo. Love it.
2) that lunchbreak workout was fun to watch
3) what is with Lipson these days? Does he compete? He's one strong dude.
4) maybe Lipson is busy with his wife, CL-B?
5) Miranda. Her abs. That is all.
6) can't wait to squat it out. Ass to grass.

This is all.

What kind of rest are we supposed to take between these sets? Or is it just enough time to change the weight then on to the next?

185-190-195-200-205 pounds.

I reset all of my lifts 3 weeks ago to follow CrossFit Football's amateur strength program. Back squat was reset to 135 pounds, hence the low numbers. Form is much better, ass to the grass and I sit in the bottom for 3 seconds.

Had some aches in my knee, but seemed that I just lacked a usual amount of strength. Think the reason is that I am getting lower and to do that i need to sacrifice a little strength to gain some flexibility.

155-165-175-180-185-190...not quite where I wanted to be but tougher than I thought to keep the bar where it should be with my hand still in a cast. Figured I'd be safe and not push it too much heavier. But it felt so good to lift after a week of running and box jumps!

5'10"/Male/200 lbs

I am the doing Smolov Jr. back squat program currently because I had a goal of squatting 400 before Christmas. Old 1RM was 335. Today the program had me do 10x3@ 305 and saw this came up in the mainsite programming today so figured I would comment.

305 for ten triples and had never done over 290x3 before.

Comment #48 - Posted by: Dakota Aaron at August 17, 2013 12:50 PM

well...the 290x3 was before yesterday. The program had me do 290x7x5. Hopefully big PR's coming.

Comment #56 - Posted by: Simon Boote M/42/80kg/6' at August 17, 2013 3:40 PM

Dont have squat rack. Had to clean and jerk / power press the weight up and down. So I kept it low.
Plus it's 95 today!

Did this as part of Wendler strength program
260,290,330,340,350-PR. First 3 sets HB, last 2 LB. Knees stayed out pretty well.
1/12/12: 295,305,315,330,340
330-not bad w/knees, staying on heels.
340-Knees in way too much.
Good job w/hips back & pretty aggressive drop on last couple of sets.
