Buggs, sounds like a good puppy wod. Maybe sub Knees to chest if you cant quite get to the elbows yet. Also, take a break after 5 sets, then come back for 5 more if you feel up to it for 50/50 reps total!

Will go with just hanging knee raises and try get those knees as high as i can go. (havent really got to kipping yet as i cant get a chinup/pull up out - so have been doing inclined body rows, will try negatives soon)

@ #25: Knees to elbows is when you hang in a pull up bar (in the starting position for an ordinary pull up), raise your knees to your elbows and then down again. A great way to kill your abs :-)

Hi guys, was wondering if anyone could help me out. Just done my PCL in my left knee and my left shoulder AC in one game of footy. Been told to rest for min 8 weeks.
8 weeks is a long time so was wondering if anyone had any workouts that i could do while away from the heavy stuff.

today is my 40th so i as a present to myself i did Murph! first mile in 5:34 all of Murph in 50:05. took 10 seconds off my mile and over 13 minutes off total Murph (without the weighted vest)since last year. thanks Crossfit!

I have been doing crossfit for only about a month now and I love it! I have low blood pressure, so burpees are almost impossible for me to perform. Even with one - I almost pass out when I come up because the blood flow doesn't have time to get back to my heart etc...Can you recommend a modified burpee or alternative? Will only coming up to my feet in a low squat without my upper body raising all the way up suffice?

started of with a bit of tractor tyre flipping for 3mins, then tyre pull (laden sprint)then tyre pull seated ( tug of war style )good fun just got the tyre.

then the wod took about 15min. got interrupted so on exact time.

Me and my freind went to our local park at 9pm to do this as we was sat around gettin restless (nothing on tv!)

we warmed up with a lap of the park and light mobility and stretches - we utilized the park swings and used the bar to hang off for the knee to elbows!

Did not get the knees to elbows, but kept on swinging as high I could. After stepping over the halfway it got easier, as it always does when stepping over the line to uncomfortable zone. Just love the burpees :D

@jankka #130,don't swing with the KTE, it makes them brutal. You can do a slow and precise movement and be fine.

Lie on your back with your arms straight up in the air. Can you then bend your knees and bring your knees to touch your elbows? You should be able to, and that's the exact same position for KTE on the bar.

While hanging from the bar, lean back so your body is parallel to the ground and your hands are now straight above you. Bring your knees in to your elbows.

It's the exact same movement and range of motion as when you are on the floor. Only difference is grip strength for holding on to the bar. Try it, you'll find it easier then you think.

Knees to elbows on rings. This felt like one of those WODs where you tried to race the pain to the finish. K2E unbroken through round 7, then really struggled to string them together. Tried to focus on moving more quickly through the burpees. Great vacation WOD - almost no equipment required.
