Very well produced. It was more than a pleasure to watch all weekend; in fact, we set up a projector at the gym and just couldn't tear ourselves away from the games! It just sucks it's only one weekend a year... :)

Khalipa! Nothing but respect for Froning but I would have loved to seen khalipa take first or Dan Bailey. Hate running but gonna see if I can best my time of 27:00. Running is not my strength.

Video links don't work for me either. I've actually been unable to connect to the games.crossfit.com site now for several days -- all I get is a blank page saying HEALTHY, which I take to be an indication that they've got a faulty server somewhere. If it's just one server out of several that would explain why the links work for some but not for others.

Made it about 1/2 mile when I stepped in a pothole and rolled my ankle pretty severely. Now I sit at work with a bag of ice on it.

Might be out of commission for a few weeks.

I ran for about 25:30. I normally run a ~7:40/mile pace, so I'm sure it was at least a 5K. About 72 degrees at 5:30 today.

Bill M., I used to live outside San Antonio and understand your challenge. Back then I was more of a cyclist, and the wind I created helped offset the blistering heat.

#42 Kipping HSPU's just mean letting your legs drop a bit, then kicking them up and pushing up at the same time. You will have a bit of momentum and slightly less weight to push up. I personally find them distracting and just do strict ones. Finishing my grad class work tonight for tomorrow. Will have to find time for a 5k this wknd. Had to take approx. 2 months off to let a foot injury heal. Shoulder press went way down. Cleans too. Hopefully it comes back quick!

My slowest 5k run ever!
Felt like running with the brakes on, despite proper warm-up including foam rollers, stretching and pose drills.
Sore quads from yesterdays "tabata this" PR (65).
Didn't breath too hard, but couldn't make my legs move fast enough to maintain an above 90 cadence. Lean, pull and ball of foot landing felt good.
