So I have my youngest cousin,15 yrs old, staying with me for a week who is starting to get into fitness routines. I told him routines are the enemy! I introduced him to the basic crossfit movements and then did 'Fran'together. He finished in 7.28. After a twenty minute break he said :"what else do you have for me?" So we went into Tabata This (Row, Box jump, Push-ups, Sit-ups, Squats)to which his response was an immediate vommiting session followed by "What's next?" We finished with a 1 Rep Max of weighted Pull-ups. In all I was very proud of his eagerness to push himself through the pain and keep going.....my guess is he'll be a bit sore tomorrow but he is hooked.

subbed 3 pull ups and 3 muscle up progressions
knees on platform for deficit hspu, 9 inch deficit
65 pounds for walking lunges

Well done for winning the world fittest female, I'm certain you will not get tired of hearing that accolade, just a bit surprised there are only 6 comments re Sam great effort.

What just happened to my hip?

I was doing abmat situps with butterfly legs. Somewhere in there a tendon or something clicked in my hip. Thought nothing of it as I've had many joints pop in my life... Like every day. By that evening, my hip felt very tight so I really mashed and rolled my hip. I had a painful night and today I can hardly walk and I have very limited range of motion when i rotate my leg... Like moving my foot from duck foot to pigeon toe. Need to see my doc but am leaving today for a week holiday.

Has anyone else messed up their hips doing abmat situps? It's the only thing I can think of that could have caused it.

This sucks.

Major PR on deadlift was at 135#s, now at 200#
