I'm about to see if i can watch a few heats in the weekend but since i'm from Sweden i'm not sure which timezone the CrossFit Games refer to, could someone tell me? :)

Comment #5 - Posted by: MG at July 25, 2013 11:36 PM

@MG: All times posted on games.crossfit.com are pacific time. It's 2 am in California right now, if I calculated right.

@MG:

Sweden is what, 5-6 hours ahead of EST? so I would say your 8-9 hours ahead of pacific time, which is what California is on. Looks like you will get to watch the morning events in the evening after supper...

Got to ask again, where are Annie and Julie? They were 1 and 2 last year, did they drop out, get hurt...?

Comment #11 - Posted by: RTC at July 26, 2013 11:10 AM

Made up WOD 130719-Friday
Scaled & subbed as follows:
5 Pull-ups + 5 Squats per 1 Rope Ascent (no rope/only 8.5’ ceiling)
“Porch” weights for C&J
145/155/165/175/185 (1RM PR on C&J)

Time – 18:00

Compare to 120611 - Tough to compare…
This was Day 42 of CrossFit for me. I had the following scale/subs:
Rope Climb = alternating 1-arm pull-ups on Gravitron machine (5 pulls per arm per 1 ascent)
(no rope and my pull-ups really sucked)
Scale C&J weight to “Women’s”
115/125/135/145/155

Time was 24:44

Hi RTC,

Annie hurt her back in the Open. Julie is taking the year off due to academic priorities in Med School.

Yup, last year's second fittest woman on the planet is a med student!

Cheers.

Not sure if anyone else in the US is experiencing this, but the streaming from ESPN3 has been terrible for me. Last year I had watched HOURS of the Games. This year.....15 minutes of Burden Run. Damn!!!

Is it me? Or is the Games Site down a lot?

Every time I try and go, I just get "HEALTHY" ...

Well, I guess huge demand is a good thing ...
