I cannot say enough how CrossFit has changed my life and really pushed me to follow my own passions. An EXCELLENT Level I Coaching Course at CF North Atlanta this weekend! Chuck Carswell, John, Leah, Doug, Austin and Bethanie all are fine exapmles of why Coach Greg Glassman says "Crossfit Trainers have the tools to be the best trainers on earth." When I read that, I got chills, but when I left the course this weekend, I believed it. When you learn from some of the best and they pass on their breadth of knowledge, skills and guidance so effectively and passionately as they did, I have one job.... which is to go work my butt off to uphold that standard with continuous learning and while coaching; to acheive true mastery. A never ending continuous cycle as Crossfit and Glassman's words manifest.

The mix of classroom time and sweat is the best learning environment I've ever had! :) I was engaged the entire time. I absolutely loved the session breakouts where we really worked the technique the movements. I cannot say enough or thank you all enough for helping provide me with the methodolgies, concepts and fundamentals that I need not only as an athlete, but to follow my true passion into coaching and hopefully helping change one life at a time.

On vacation in the high mountains of Utah. No barbell. Used two 40 pound dumbells for 10 push jerks EMOM for 5 minutes.

Then Annie (50-40-30-20-10 rep rounds of double-unders and sit-ups). Completed in 9:59, which is 90 seconds slower than my PR last month. Blame it on the altitude.

Thanks for an awesome weekend at Crossfit Central London and to Denise, Kimmy, Ryan, Pedro, Fede and the Boz Man. Your enthusiasm for Crossfit is infectious and knowledge of what you do simply fantastic. I learnt so much from the course which was a perfect mix of practical and theory work. Just hope I've passed!! Hope to see you guys again soon. It was a pleasure. NO REP!! Rich, Wales.

A 10 pound improvement over last time. The last rep wobbled a bit, and it took me a couple of steps to get to the point where it was stable before I brought it down. Worst part of this workout was the sunburn on the back of my neck and shoulders.

Comment #123 - Posted by: Dakota Aaron at July 1, 2013 7:48 PM

I was able to get the first 255# attempt, but I pressed it out at the top so I didn't allow myself room to accept it. It was all downhill after that. I wanted to go out on a win so I dropped 10# and took a gain and PR for the seventh set at 245#.

BTW, this was tough mentally more than anything.
