What does the twin prime conjecture have to do with crossfit. We get enough of this prime number crap forced on us by the media. Plus I have children that use my computer what if they came across this. I would have to try and explain the twin prime conjecture to them.

Fantastic weekend @ Trident CrossFit. Ridiculous trainers and learned entirely more than I thought going in. Was also not disappointed the least bit having the 2008 games winner in the trail run as our flow master instead of his more well known partner from Park City.

The Level 1 course was way more than I imagined it would be! Thank you for a great weekend Trident CrossFit! My legs are killing me but I figured out some flaws with my wandering toe (thanks Andrea!), fixed my deadlift form (thanks Gregg!), picked up some excellent coaching cues (thanks Jason!), learned to keep my hands off my hips and found my built in weight belt (thanks Chriss!), learned a ton about foundtaional CrossFit, nutrition, and thrusters (thanks Maggie!), perfected my slow clap (thanks Eric!), and I finally got a few kipping pull-ups strung together (thanks Gretchen!). The whole package has given me much more confidence about coaching others. I can't wait to take it to the next level! Thanks!

Great job staving off the monster Kevin!

That's more PUs than I will do in a session any more - too sore after something like that. That's also why I start the "death-by-PU" at 6, vice 1.

Hope those lats don't freeze up on you day-after-tomorrow!

With a name tag or not they remembered my name and that is very important. Coach Chuck, Chris, Cameron, Leah, Donny, Blanco thank you for setting a milestone in my journey. I had the best time at Trident CrossFit! I wish it was longer than two days, only because I enjoyed the community bonding and wanted to keep learning more. I can't wait to save up and take the next course! But only if I get the '08 Trail Run Winner is my flow master again! Eric O'Connor was so funny and very good at his lectures. (although he did play A LOT of pranks on us) I loved all of the coaches, they each taught me so many things. I was a little confused by Maggie's explanation of the nutrition but I am already starting to take certain things out of my diet to see what affects me and what doesn't. I love Jason's lectures and his tattoos. I was so happy to have Gretchen teach me, and pull me to the middle of the group, to show me how to do the deadlits correctly. I will be practicing them more often. Greg was so helpful, with a cool way of guiding me through the muscle ups. And I can't say enough good things about the Smiths! Chriss and Andrea are the coolest, most down to earth, but so energetic coaches I've ever met. They do this all the time and I'm sure they see a lot of faces, but they take time to remember you! All of the CF coaches are awesome and I hope to be great like them one day... And of course my dream job would be to work for CFHQ <3 Thank you Eric, Jason, Chriss, Andrea, Maggie, Gretchen and Greg!

M/ 39/ 135 lbs/ 5'-6"
I did a different WOD last night.
This was my Rehab workout #4... back starting to feel a lot better.
For 20 Minutes repeat for AMRAP:
Row 250 meters then do 25 pushups
I completed 9 rounds with about 40 seconds to spare so I did another 10th round and completed in about 21:30
I was still nursing my lower back and it felt pretty good overall. I was not killing it on the Erg but going at a decent clip. I started to break up the pushups at the 4th round into 20+5
Last pushups were tough 10,5,5,5
I stretched quite a bit and went home.
drank a smoothie with lots of greek yogurt, some frozen starwberries, blueberries and walked the dog. Took a hot shower and was in bed at a decent hour.

I traveled to Alexandria, VA this weekend to attend the CrossFit Level 1 course. I was not a huge advocate of CrossFit before, simply because I have been working out my entire life, for multiple sports and was pretty damn good at it. I own a gym in Va. Beach and wanted to give my clients proper "CrossFit" guidance when they attended and asked about techniques. I played Division 1 football as a Strong Safety, and traveling with me were two of my trainers. One a former MLB pitcher, and the other is a professional MMA fighter. Our plans for the weekend were to, walk in, sit down, listen to non sense for two days, and leave with a certification that we know CrossFit, because with our backgrounds we couldn't learn much more about fitness, right?.... DEAD WRONG!!!!!! The experience that I received from Eric O'Conner and the rest of this professional staff, blew my mind! I learned more in two days than I have in my entire life about fitness, no joke! For all of the nay sayers and negative bloggers about "drinking the CrossFit Kool-Aid", I simply ask that you attend this class. If you have attended, then speak freely, but if not..... I think you would learn a lot more than you think about the CrossFit mind set. This class challenged me mentally and physically and I now have a new appreciation for what CrossFit TRULY stands for. By the way, the Kool-Aid is grape and it tastes pretty dam good! I would like to thank Eric for his overall attitude and ability to connect with everyone in the class. A big thank you to Chirss and Andrea for opening up their amazing gym to us for the weekend! Thank you to Jason MacDonald, Gregg, Maggie, Dave and Gretchen. You guys ROCK, don't change!!!!! Good luck in the games Gretchen, you will dominate. Thanks again guys!!!!!!
