I somehow overlooked the "squat" on the snatch so I did 80 OH squats using a broom.

Not pertaining to this workout, but the CFHQ have to do something about getting electronic timing in the Games.

Central East first event is done and the top 5 guys are separated by 0.6 seconds. No way you can have it be that close when volunteer judges are using their thumbs and a stopwatch to time things.

Those ranks make a big difference, especially in the event of a tie-breaker.

james.patrick -- as a lean guy I learned a long time ago to use 2 mats for situps otherwise I'll have serious tailbone bruising. Angie, Annie and Barbara are especially bad. And it always seemed that I'd do one of these a day before I'd have to get on a plane and sit for hours...

haven't seen an answer yet to the questions about alternating DB squat snatch reps. But based on prior competition videos, it looks like it'd be (surprisingly) the easier way: RLRLRLRLRL = 10 reps alternating, and that completes the round. Please someone correct me if that's wrong!

Bill M., 11 rounds is phenomenal...and kudos to james.patrick, too. I wasn't smoked or anything this morning, but the snatches just took a lot of time.

Kevin C, at least you have folks to push you! Hope my son will join me occasionally in the barn now that his high school year is over. Congrats on having a USAFA kid...though not a grad, I spent 27 years working with them, from 2Lts to Lt Gens. And that setting outside the Springs isn't too shabby, either.

Thanks for your prayers. I was very surprised because I never saw that my post made it to the board. I have faith that the good Lord does not give us more than we can handle. I am reminded that I must surrender my will for His will each day.

God Bless
