That was a fantastic video about two strong women with incredible heart. They should show that in every elementary school. Kate and Camille are excellent role models for all of us.

This made me cry, made me smile, made me to be a part of this amazing community.

And the Fun is in the Community.

Excellent article Russell

Russell Berger: Your response to that infantile piece of, you know what, was very measured and professional. I admire you for that. All I could think of when I read Matthew Basso's piece, was, "What a freeaing id1ot." [yes I mispelled those words deliberately to avoid the filter!] Andy my response to him would have been just as knee-jerk as what I just wrote. Thank you for responding with dignity, facts, and professionalism. It could not have been easy.

I have to say, though, that in a way I really do not care what uninformed people with absolutely no training in reational thought have to say about CrossFit. It's their loss. Let them continue with their misguided "fitness" programs. Let them continue to believe in creationism. Let them keep thinking the whole global warming thing is a jewish plot to destroy freedom. Let them keep eating popcorn and pasta to stay healthy. They are not intelligent life. I don't care what unintelligent life does. We have a thriving community of intelligent, curious, bright, motivated, educated people who are following CrossFit and benefitting immensely from it. Let people like Basso go their own way.

gary roberts' film: he of killing the fat man. impressive job behind the lens. that jump-cutting from C to K to C early on was fantastic.

Comment #18 - Posted by: rich at March 16, 2013 4:24 AM

The people that read the Huffington Post are way too smart for me. @ #9, I know how the universe was created, i read about it in the best selling book of all time...oh and I believe in CrossFit.

Comment #19 - Posted by: Steve at March 16, 2013 6:00 AM

@17 @9, let's not turn this into a religious debate! ;) The simple fact is, Basso is just trying to use bash tactics to sell his dbx3 workout video's. The funniest thing of the whole set of articles is that it's his own dbx3 set that will be the fad, just like p90x, insanity, rushfit and buns of steel.

wtg berger ... and WTG k8!!!
