Lets see how many people question the bent over row as a cf exercise. Last time there were quite a few. I personally love the exercise.
That took an absurd amount of time.
I did this in the same workout as the 10x2 back squats so my legs were shot before I even started those dang burpees.
Subbed 500 yards row for 400 meter run (stress fracture). Used 25# DBs for rows.
41:00. Lots of breaks. A normal person could easily do it in under 20.

Swim coach Terry Laughlin refers to Kaizen swimming in his Total Immersion System. It means a lot to me. Flawless technique is the the secret weapon of the aging athlete. I get the time to properly invest in Crossfit when I'm deployed. The rest of the time it seems that modifying WODs to account for the children, being too stiff from rugby or just being too busy with work always gets in the way.
That said, I keep loosing a day here and a day there to the job. This WOD was done a day late and I missed yesterday's rest to catch up. Having done a mission rehearsal earlier today there was a mountain of paperwork waiting for me. Thank-you to the young Lt that made me get out. I apologise to the USAF for ruining him, he may not be as good at blithely bowing to rank any more, but he is becoming a bloody good operator!
My scores might not mean a lot to most. And they are never competitive! I just wanted to post as today was the first WOD in a long time, and certainly on this tour, that I've finished with a familiar feeling that is a mix of pride, satisfaction and, I admit, a small degree of smugness as I look at everyone else doing 'normal' exercise.

So: 7 min AMRAP of 165 Squat Clean and Jerk
I did 12 complete reps, but I think in 5 minutes it would have been similar.
I took a few minutes then did Annie
(50-40-30-20-10) of: DU + Situp (I do my situps anchored)
I did my Annie in about 4:50
Then I did 3 rounds of pushing a weight plate about 100' on the floor. Good for posterior and running for fast feet.
