Thank you for your article written from a parents perspective. I too am in the trenches of the nutrition battle between my significant other and my two young sons. Your words give me some relief as the long time crossFitter/short time dad. I cringe most days at the endless supply of wheat based treats my wife will hand out during tough moments. A couple of Goldfish here, an organic bunny cracker there will always produce immediate and favorable results. As long as I can keep the notion of maybe the next meal will be broccoli and salmon and they will be alright and I won't stress as much.

being bored because of the storm, my 8 year old just banged out 127 burpees in 7 minutes. is that some kind of a kid record? I say buckfurpees. He just inspired me.

I'm still suffering from the GHD situps from Sundays WOD which i did on Tuesday. I tried to focus on good form and now I feel like I've been beaten by a mob. 1 GHD situp = 1 kick in the stomach.
