Not to be THAT guy, but where's Rich Froning or Dan Bailey? Didn't they both end up higher than Chan And Kalipa in the past 2 years? (Obviously Rich did)
Rich is the captain of Team USA.
Whew! You guys picked my 2 female games competitors! Go team USA!!!
And I'm guessing the team make up for both sexes had more to do with availability than anything else.
Team USA is legit!!! Great athletes, and a ton of fun to train with. Thanks for having us up for a great day of fun in the gym. The Sea of Green will be cheering hard for Team USA in October.
Any ideas what to do on a rest day?
I'm bored
I hope they have qualifiers for team USA next year that would be more fulfilling than winning the games personally to represent the USA in an international competition like that
Jack
practice your back flips!
Mel,
HAHA like the one in the tours? I scared I break my neck
Jack, I'm going to do a sort of Sprint Triathlon. Do the 750m swim, practice Handstands for 10 mins,do the 20k bike, stretch for 10 minutes, then do the 5k Run. Nothing overly strenuous but you get to burn some Calories!
Does anyone know how to get tickets for the event in London?
I am going to London that weekend, how can I buy tickets for this?
Do you if Reebok will ever have the better, simpler Crossfit tees again with just the logo on it? I never got a chance to get one and I see so many people with them. I want one.
Where does Canada stand in this competition... did we get left out again...!?
Gonna be fun watching Mikko represent his home country after all the work he's put in here in the US. Wish him and Finland a happy second place... :)
Great to see Invictus coaches on main site!
7 minute AMRAP:
7 wbs (20)
7 box jumps (24)
8 rds. + 4 wbs
Then, 800 meter run
Wish Elizabeth Akinwale had made Team USA. Not as fast or agile as Foucher but certainly stronger. She killed it in the Clean Ladder at the Games. Nothing against Becca either but Akinwale finished higher than her and she's on the team?
Sorry, just my opinion. Akinwale is kind of my inspiration. Similar (bigger) build as me and she's a mom!
Go Team USA!
When can we buy those shirts. I want a Team USA one!!
Yay, Julie's on the team.
@#13 Aw, did they leave you guys out? Guys, we've gotta stop doing that! Well, Canada, you know I love you guys. I'd have loved to see Ms. Bazinet compete with everyone.

finally got around to doing Angie...
took 25:14 broken down into five sets, but I did it, and all on my own. #crossfitfirst
remembering LT Brendan Looney today - be strong, be accountable, never complain.
Made up yesterday's weighted pull ups

today is September 21 (21.9. or 0921) and I'm turning 27 so I did 21-15-9 dumbbell thrusters, GHD situps and back extensions.I used 13,5kg dumbbells (13,5+13,5=27 ;)
This is great! I hope there is going to be a Team Canada!
2nd day of CF. instead of a rest day i did the wednesday workout (21-15-9) scaled down to 185lb dl and 65 ohs. gassed and took me 26 mins. have to start somewhere
#25 - great job and yes, you do have to start somewhere. I just finished day 7. Don't worry, it will suck less the more you do it...
26 / M / 5'9" / 140lbs
"Angie," scaled to
For time:
50 Pull-ups
50 Push-ups
50 Sit-ups
50 Squats
13:43
PR for this scaling. I would normally do 75 reps each, but I haven't been doing the WOD regularly because I've been busy with school and work, so I took it easy today.
Swordfighting practice tomorrow. Oh boy!
M/5'11"/177lb
Did the wallball/rowing workout from earlier this week as Rx'd but with running subbed for rowing since I have no rower and SDHP sucks for your supraspinatus.
14:53 if I remember correctly.
That many wallballs sucks. I could barely walk after.
