"Early in the morning on September 11th, after a slight delay due to
indirect fire from the Taliban hitting their base, members of Task Force
Paladin, the Counter IED Task Force for Afghanistan, suffered through
a 9/11 Tribute WOD to honor all those slain in the September 11th
attacks. The group is led by Don Clarkson, co-owner of CrossFit Bel Air
who is currently on his 5th deployment to Afghanistan."

That video is AWESOME!...I love the last words: "where are the machines?!...we're the machines!"
Rest day eh?...I'll be on the ice twice tomorrow, just like any good canadian hockey player would be!...Can't wait for the next WOD though!..
I just finished Wednesday's WOD, posted my time, then watched the video---I'm gassed, but I want go again after that video. Awesome. I'm a health teacher, and I'm going to show that to my H.S. students. Anyone have any ideas for CrossFit posters for my classroom?
Thanks
Mike
Awesome video!!!! That's what I love about crossfit the most, it's not a bunch of meat-head knuckle draggers working out chest five days a week, it ordinary people from every athletic background imaginable coming together and pushing each other through some of the hardest mental and physical workouts ever.
Today was a rest day for me. But I gave platelets today for the first time. Wanted to do it on Tuesday, but the center was closed. I will try to do this monthly as a way to honor all those who serve.... Past, present, and future. God bless!
Don! I did a wod at your box a while back home! So happy to see you on here and hope your tour is going great!

TF Paladin????? must be nice to be sitting in Bagram and have time to work out, try to spend a day in one of our JCOPs and receive indirect fire all day.
Alberto,
We're all in a war zone, why would you degrade your brothers and sisters? Doesn't the enemy do enough of that.
We received IDF just the other day, and it wasn't just loud noises and flashes, people got hurt.
Take a step back, review what it means to be a professional, and get your head back in the game.
Paladin, keep up the great work and keep kicking ass.

Alberto,
Sounds like someone needs to go to the warrior recovery and pet the puppies.
