I have never posted here but am a crossfitter and follow this site somewhat religiously. This photo has to be one of (if not THE) best I have ever seen here. The look of determination on the "rower" coupled with the sense of patience in the "coach" is absolutely precious and priceless. Beautiful kids, and I'm sure some really happy parents.
Well done Journey and Madalyn!
Greg
Games competitors be warned - single leg rows coming to the Games 2013 haha
I love the commercial! Greatness only needs a little inspiration. Those kids are doing it right.

"Dave Leys has dethroned Greg Amundson; the new mark for Helen is 8:24. Dave shaved off one second.
Coach
Ryan, that's a good start. You'll shave of twenty or thirty seconds with each of your next three or four exposures.

I believe Coach when he says "it's" not for sale. I think there's a bit of trick there: if he sold "it" it would no longer be "it" because "it" is "him". I hope he realizes that, so that if he ever wants to do someting else, he can retire "it" (if someone wants to pay him 50 mil to retire "it" so that someoneelse can run some other thing - not "it" - then so be it). WTF do I know?
And, the Games were fantastic.
I'm really enjoying the "Founders Views" series of videos. These are some of the best videos featuring Coach Glassman, and I have more and more respect for the man as he describes his charter and desire to professionalize the trainer. Good for him.
That's my Maddie! Proud Mama!
Crossfit Kids is awesome! great initiative! It's so awesome to see kids realizing their potential and not just relying on technology and social medias...
Thank God for Coach to keep the unique community model of Crossfit intact and not wanting to sell out to the corporate machine...
Love the pic, get em JoJo!
Ill be doing yesterday's wod today, great picture up top! Spreading the Word about cf to my deployed brothers and sisters, it really does help with the long hours and rough work places. HUA!!
Way to go Greg! Awesome to have some leadership with integrity and not after the all mighty dollar alone.
Every opportunity is not an opportunity to make money but to serve.
I hope to take my little garage gym to the affiliate status. It will be worth the cost. A great name is more valuable than money.

Greg--
Love your mission: making the world a better place through a network. You've created it and your integrity to keep the movement growing will only help you serve even more people. We're still in the early stages of this movement! Thanks for your commitment then and now.

Coach Glassman has stayed true to his life's purpose and not deviated from what he started out to accomplish. He has not only built a successful business from the ground up; he's set a fire that is burning around the world, making people's lives better in the process.
I am honored and blessed to be part of it.
Prole - Sorry I don't hang out here too much any more. Trying to re-start as time allows. Hope you are well. Some great discussions over the years.

Just read the piece on protecting the copyright.
Hope all is well for you as well.
Still visit the site at least once a week to catch up. The rest day discussions of old were fun but didn't really fit.
Over seven years of doing things similar to crosfit I've spent only one month at crossfit affiliate. Not a reflection on crossfit but on my fitness goals and lifestyle needs (young kids and a legal practice make for squats in the basement and ground-to-overheads and double-unders in the backyard, and enrging whenever I can get it).
Anyway, as someone without any investment in crossfit and no 'right' to complain, I have no complaints with how the thing has developed - other than some random 0lympics events I haven't watched a sporting competition other than the'Games' in years ( don't have a tv with a preference for doing over watching).
So much free information (also love th cffb and mwod).

Look at those babies! Hilarious! One-legged rowing? That was hysterical! That baby is determined! Really cute picture; it cracked me up. Thanks, CrossFit, for posting this one. ~Allen
