is it recommended to master the kipping pullup before trying to learn the butterfly kip, the butterfly kip seems more efficient but it is much harder to execute than it looks

Im new to this, so whats a push press?
Do you do this as a chipper-style wod or do you do all 50 of each excercise before you move on to the next?
Would I be missing anything, like leg or plyo benefits, if I tried for 50 straight pull-ups instead of jumping pull-ups?

You would be missing intensity, which is the point of the workout. You are meant to be able to keep going. Look at the push press weight, it is only the bar.

I'm excited about this. Unfortuantely I've got to use a tree for pull ups, so I don't think I'll be able to do jumping pull ups, and no kb yet so I'll do push ups and squats instead.
I'm not quite sure how I'll function for the rest of the day though...
Great workout!! The best thing was that I had a chance to do it (24:30) on a kids playground right next to the sea with a beautiful view. 20 min run and 15 min swim felt just great after the workout!

#58; I just learned this not too long ago myself; Rx'd stands for "as prescribed." So it means they did the WOD without any modifications/scaling. Hope that helped!

I can understand where you're coming from, but a lot of people use this as their training log. So they aren't posting "lame excuses" so much as recording a way for them to remember how the WOD was last time. It's good to know if you couldn't do the r'x weight last time but you could this time. #encouragement
BTW my time was 23:09, lost a lot of ground on K2E and burpees, but did push press unbroken for first time! Also first time under 25 min!

again this workout brought me closer to pukie than any other, holding the standards for K2E is very hard, I would have preferred T2B. That and the burpees really slowed me down.

I may be slow but CF sure has made a big difference to my fitness level to what it was about a month & a half ago. My 1st WOD was Cindy & that darn near killed me. I blitzed this one in comparison. My body found it much easier. Except for the burpees...

Disapp. Most things decent except for WB. Only sets of 10 & those were slow & breaks real long. Did them outside, so ball slippery & I just suck. KB unbroken. K to E decent. First 12 unbr & good kip on remaining reps. PP - 2 small breaks, but didn't set bar down. First 36 back ext unbr then 7+7. Burpees - sets of 10 - breaks prob too long between sets. DU good thankfully or time would've been much worse. 30+19+1.
Try to catch ball on way down for next rep instead of at very top.

Good job pushing overall. BJ not bad. Used bench & small piece of plywood for jumping PU. Tried to make sure ROM good even though platform a little high. KB unbroken. K to E little better. Kip good on 1st 11. PP - sm breaks, but unbr. 1st 35 back ext unbr. Then 8+7. 1st time w/real WB. Burpees little better. DU good - 21+19+10
