I can't wait! Going to have to sub some things though. My pull-up bar doesn't fit over the door frame in my new house:(
Any ideas? push up for sure, knees to elbows on the floor?
@4 I use my back porch. It's probably about 30" or higher.

is it recommended to master the kipping pullup before trying to learn the butterfly kip, the butterfly kip seems more efficient but it is much harder to execute than it looks

You would be missing intensity, which is the point of the workout. You are meant to be able to keep going. Look at the push press weight, it is only the bar.

I'm excited about this. Unfortuantely I've got to use a tree for pull ups, so I don't think I'll be able to do jumping pull ups, and no kb yet so I'll do push ups and squats instead.
I'm not quite sure how I'll function for the rest of the day though...

Great workout!! The best thing was that I had a chance to do it (24:30) on a kids playground right next to the sea with a beautiful view. 20 min run and 15 min swim felt just great after the workout!

I starte CrossFit like 3 Weeks ago and felt really dizzy after the Wall ball shots, as if I was about to pass out and/or vomit.

It was the burpees at the beginning which killed me. Great work out.

WOOOOO filthy fifty! Can't wait to do this one today! This was one of the first CrossFit workouts I ever did, and my time was about 33 minutes. It'll be great to see how much I've improved over the past 6 months.

I think I was using a 24" box. Jumping pullups sucked. KBs were not done to games standard. K2E was more like K2pits. rolling the back up on the extensions fell apart pretty quick. 20 lb db thrusters for wall balls. thought I was going to puke during burpees. did 100 single unders; still working on DUs.

#58; I just learned this not too long ago myself; Rx'd stands for "as prescribed." So it means they did the WOD without any modifications/scaling. Hope that helped!

Been CF'n for a while but 1st time hittin up the F-50. Used a 40lb KB and sub'd 50/3, 50/3, 50/3 Single Unders/Burpees for the Double Unders (advised by a Level 1 CF Trainer). Felt pretty good considering the circumstances - pouring sweat, shaking muscles, and no breath...in.....lungs.

I can understand where you're coming from, but a lot of people use this as their training log. So they aren't posting "lame excuses" so much as recording a way for them to remember how the WOD was last time. It's good to know if you couldn't do the r'x weight last time but you could this time. #encouragement

BTW my time was 23:09, lost a lot of ground on K2E and burpees, but did push press unbroken for first time! Also first time under 25 min!

Rx'd pretty much, wall balls were actually 10kg, but slightly lower wall height. Did equivalent weight dumbbell swings (no kettle) and our jumps were slightly lower, but we had to jump over as well (second step up) so we covered some mean deistance as well as the height.

I had some unfortunately time frames to complete this in, so I had to split it up. I know that its not quite the same effect but its the best I could do.
So I did:
50 box jumps
50 jumping pull ups
50 lunges
50 kettlebell swings
50 back ext.
50 wall ball throws (15 lbs ball was the heaviest there)
50 push press

Then I had to go to work, and after work I finished with:
50 knees to elbows
50 burpees
50 tuck jumps (subbed for double unders because I didn't have a rope)
9:40

Total time= 30:47
Not the greatest time especially since I split it up, but the knees to elbows took forever.

again this workout brought me closer to pukie than any other, holding the standards for K2E is very hard, I would have preferred T2B. That and the burpees really slowed me down.
