Thank you Greg Glassman! Your changing the world and I can't imagine a better leader. Keep doing what your doing til the day you die and the world will be better off because of it.
Thank You Coach Glassman!
Wow I love this video. Its amazing that in a world where greed runs rampant and ruins great things and great people we belong to something that seems to be going the other way. I really admire coach Glassman for sticking to his guns. This is the sport of the future and I'm proud to say that I'm a part of it.
Functional fitness pays off! Had to drag 100 lb. dead deer from end of driveway to nearest ditch before work! Did it in less than 10 seconds! Thanks Crossfit.
I'd like to get some feedback from the community. I have been an avid CrossFitter for about 4 years now. For the better part of the last two, I have been considering a Level 1 Cert. Due to financial and family restrictions, I have been unable to take the course. I've noticed there is now a "Test Only" being offered for quite a bit less money. Obviously, I miss the two days of training and teaching though. Does anyone have thoughts on if the "Test Only" is right for me? Should I nut up and take the regular Level 1 Course? Thanks!
deb is amazing. goosebumps. all us crossfitters ROCK!
Awesome video on Deb, I've been lucky enough to meet her at CFSP, she is so humble and friendly. Oh, and she kicked butt at the games, passing many amazing athletes while climbing from 41st to 13th in the last 8 events!

While watching the games and researching many of the athlete's and their respective affiliates/home gyms, I came across a small, but significant amount of anti-crossfit blogs. Glassman's speech is just reconfirmation and assurance to those new and old in the sport that Crossfit's greatness comes from its grassroots. Crossfit it revolutionizing fitness throught the simplest measures, and I am very happy Glassman won't sell out. If Crossfit is his kid, then Crossfit is definately my best friend.
Hey all, I just recently started doing crossfit workouts, I was a running back at a smaller college in KS, and have been bodybuilding for the last 4 years. I have to say that i loved bodybuilding, but crossfit is amazing, the culture, the workouts, the sportsmanship displayed at the crossfit games, awesome stuff. I look forward to progressing through crossfit and getting some athletecism and mobility back that i lost from the isolation excercises of bodybuilding!
Coach, do you have an opinion as to who is the greatest chess player of all time? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts about this, if you're not too busy. From what I can tell, the two chessists most commonly talked about are Kasparov and Fischer...granted, such a comparison may be skewed because we tend to remember only the most current events. Having said that, F1 motor racing is my religion; I'd say Garry Kasparov is the Michael Schumacher of the chess world, while the unearthly playing style and personality nuances of Bobby Fischer resembles the driving acumen and life journey of the late Ayrton Senna.
Fischer's victory over Spassky in 1972 was, hands down, one of the most amazing sporting achievements of all time.
Thank you coach Glassman! As an affiliate owner I love where you're coming from and am in your boat. I love helping people and am grateful to you for providing the framework and leading others to make it happen. THANK YOU!

@Scooter...I think Test Only is for those who already have their L1 and did not have to take a test initially. For instance, we have a trainer who did not have a written test at his L1 when he got it back in....IDK, several years ago. He was required to take a written test to keep his cert. That way, we are all proven qualified and knowledgable in the foundations. Also, if you attend a L1 and fail the written test, you can go back and do the test only. That is just the last day of the Cert. I may very well be wrong, but I think this is correct. Your L1 is an amazing experience! I hope you go!
Deborah Cordner Carson is a class act and an amazing woman. Thank you CrossFit for awarding her Spirit of the Games. She embodies inner and physical strength. I'm proud to be part of North Central and it is an honor to be able to watch her compete.
As for the Glassman video, I am going to 'share' the hell out of it!
